Why I Give Workshops
​
If I'm not performing I'm usually writing, studying writing, practicing writing, learning about writing, teaching other people to write or writing with them. I love the mystery and the magic of it. I love the care and the craft of it.

Somewhen in the last number of years I was asked to give my first songwriting workshop. Unsure of what I could offer I nervously accepted. I soon discovered what for me is "normal" is for others a deep well of knowledge, experience and practice which can transform their relationship with their songs, their audiences and themselves.

It fills me with joy to watch people blossom in their craft and creativity, in their personal development and expression. It's a great reward in itself.
